In West Virginia there seem to be numerous Glade or Glady Creeks. There are at least two of them in close proximity in Fayette County, and a third just over the border. One of them gives its name to Glade Creek Grist Mill, which I posted last week and of which I will have more later. But that same day I also drove to the the other Glade Creek, about 20 miles away, which has has a waterfall that can look good if it has a little bit of water. It didn't have much water, but enough to be worthwhile. I was pleasantly surprised to find it had a nice display of various color leaves at just the right angle behind it. (This is also sometimes called Propps Ridge Falls, because you get there on Propps Ridge Road, but since it isn't on a ridge of any name, I'm going to let it use its creek name.)
