Walking Towards the Bloom

When I shot this a couple of days ago I was thinking that I was seeing a different kind of bee with the lack of deep orange bands on its body but every insect ID effort I made says its just another Western Honey Bee. The bloom its approaching is a catnip flower.

Thanks Michael - not so sure about the immunity part as the bees seem to flock to the blooms giving me lots of targets to track

The flower name needs to be ID's as Beenip, not catnip.

Thanks Jim - there are more than a few neighborhood cats that frequent our backyard to get their catnip fix on these plants. They get quite serious about their indulgence and will roll around on the lowest branches to absorb all they can. The bees are interesting for me but they are pikers compared to the cats around those plants.
