From last week in the North of Scotland. Driving across the country from East to West ( it is not much more than 50 miles at this point) I came across this scene at one of the many small Lochs.
I stood around for about 10 minutes hoping that the distant cloud might shift and reveal the hidden mountains, but they remained cloaked. I then noticed that the low cloud/ mist behind me was starting to shift with the chance of some real sunshine on the scene.
So another 20 minutes and
The reflections were an added bonus. Back to the car to resume my journey Westwards. Then a fogbow and running back down to the Lochside.
It only lasted for 2 minutes and never coincided with sunlight on the birch trees so for the last time back to the car and westward. Ken
