Sprague Lake is a very nice feature in Rocky Mountain National Park, a beautiful lake surrounded by evergreen trees and has the Rocky Mountains as a nice backdrop. Here are 2 different views of this scenic area.
Nice views of this lake. Both are quite nice but I think I prefer the first image with the more dense forest in the foreground and the slightly closer view of the background peaks (longer focal length?). Long needle pines do tend to have less dense stands by nature along the lines of the second image but I am more used to the density of the Pacific NW forests.
I might be inclined to clone out the parked cars in the first image if this were my shot.
Hey Larry, that is a really cool lake for sure. I will be the opposite of Alan, I prefer #2. I like how the trees are spread out more in #2, and also showing more of the peaks behind the lake.

Thanks for your comments Alan, appreciated! yes the first image was taken with a longer focal lens then the second. The first was with a 60mm lens and the second with a 28 mm lens. Noted and agree with your comment about cloning out the cars in the first image.

There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
