Two sunrises from the Isle of Skye

This year, due to the infamous pandemic, for the first time in over a decade I didn’t go to the Isle of Skye in late winter, and I really missed it; I scheduled two trips in 2022 to compensate for that, but in the meantime, I thought I’d share a couple of Skye sunrises with you.

Stunning morning light Vieri. I love the bridge in the first image but the scene in the second one keeps me looking again and again.

Very nice Vieri, it's awesome to have you posting again as your photos have been missed greatly!

My favorite of the 2 is #1, but #2 also is great. I just have something for bridges, especially old brick bridges like that one. And it's a perfect leading line and balances well with the sun.

Love them both Vieri. The sky, lighting and the remarkable composition in #2 have me going back again and again as well. But if you had just posted #1 I'd have been all over it for its' beautiful content and lighting.

That's the way to tell a story, as your art always does.

Lovely pair of images, Vieri. Great skies and sunset. While great images both, like others I gravitate towards the second.

Thank you very much indeed Alan, I am glad you enjoyed the light & the photos! :)

I too have missed my winter Scotland trip home Vieri, lovely images as always
Thank you very much Ken, glad you enjoyed them! :) Yes, I am really looking forward for next year, I'll go twice to make up for this "gap year"! :D

Beautiful pair of images. I also love that bridge, and the second is magical.
Thank you very much indeed Ben, I am glad you enjoyed them! :)

Thank you very much for your kind words Jim, I am glad to be back! :) Thank you very much for your kind comment about the images - I also love old bridges (and old stuff in general - like pretty much all photographers, I guess!).
