Looks ominous for sure. The tint is indeed wildfire smoke, getting to be too normal this time of year!

Thanks Michael - the smoke makes a mess out of any kind of views of the local peaks and the smell gets old pretty fast.

Super cool Alan, I like the simplicity as well. It immediately reminded me of an image I captured in Yellowstone the other morning. I have yet to post it, and maybe I should just post the iPhone version as I am still working on getting to my real camera photos (RCP) tm.

Thanks Jim - I noticed the trees as I was heading up to my usual 300' plus vantage point and dropped back down to include them as they were more interesting as a silhouette then the river basin that's in view from higher up.
