Thanks Michael - the smoke makes a mess out of any kind of views of the local peaks and the smell gets old pretty fast.Looks ominous for sure. The tint is indeed wildfire smoke, getting to be too normal this time of year!

Thanks Jim - I noticed the trees as I was heading up to my usual 300' plus vantage point and dropped back down to include them as they were more interesting as a silhouette then the river basin that's in view from higher up.Super cool Alan, I like the simplicity as well. It immediately reminded me of an image I captured in Yellowstone the other morning. I have yet to post it, and maybe I should just post the iPhone version as I am still working on getting to my real camera photos (RCP) tm.
