Torre dei Scarperi at sunset, Dolomites

The beauty of the Dolomites isn't just in those few famous locations that we always see on social media. There is much more than that, there are so many incredible vistas and landscapes to photograph that it would take a lifetime to portray them all! This is Torre dei Scarperi at sunset, 16 seconds of exposure with my Hasselblad X1D II, Hasselblad XCD 90mm and my Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters.

Thank you for viewing, best regards

Those are some truly amazing mountains and I like the last rays of the sunlight on the peaks. Nice one Vieri.

Awesome light in this!!! I love it when the light happens like that.
Thank you very much Jim, yes I love this Torre, it gets sidelight at sunset and when you have a sky such as this is even more beautiful :)

Wonderful image, as always, Vieri. Longish exposure to soften the clouds? I often look at your images and think that I need to visit many of your locations. My last visit to the Dolomites was 25 years ago so I definitely need to return while my knees are still up to walking up hills. Ken

I am sure that his worksops are excellent, just a touch too expensive for this pensioner. I am used to a tent, a camping stove and a cold beer out of the bottle. Ken

Thank you very much Ken, glad you enjoyed it! :) Yes, 16 seconds as mentioned above, just to smoothen the clouds a bit. Glad my images serve of inspiration to revisit some old locations! :)
