Toketee Falls

A short side trip along the North Umpqua River Highway in southern Oregon leads to a viewpoint for Toketee Falls.

This is what I call a shifty panorama where the final result is stitched together from images created by shifting the focus point with a TS-E (tilt and shift) lens. By setting the camera up pointing at the center of the desired result you can use the shift mechanism to grab an image to the left and right (or up and down in this case) of the center shot. Since the camera sensor never moves there are no parallax artifacts to correct when stitching the panorama.

C&C always welcome.

Hey Alan,

I should use my TSE lens more for shots like these, it's really helpful.

I like the view, that's a cool looking waterfall. A small nit is I would darken those two long thin branches on the lower left side. Their brightness grabs the eye compared to the rest of the scene.

You know those branches were perfectly invisible - until you pointed them out. Efforts to unsee them now are failing.......
