Very nice composition here. I like the way the large circle of cracks narrow into a line that leads to the mountains in the distance.

Jim: This is a 3 image focus stack. I thought about using the 17mm TS, but there weren't movement issues so I decided on a slightly higher, slightly narrower angle of view to keep some of the leading line visible.

Doug: This is on the playa in Panamint Valley, though I also found cracks in Death Valley itself, and Eureka Valley.
