Alan, I really like your rural collection of images. The North Fork of the Siuslaw River image—it’s a great advantage of the drone perspective for us to see this gorgeous aerial view. Very nice. I also like the Kestner Farmstead for the colors provided by the truck and trailer. Interesting capture. The Palouse image is another image we benefit from the use of your drone. Again very nice as well. I favor the Bodie image for all the interesting dilapidated buildings and vehicle lending their similar colors to the scene’s interest. Nice. I also favor the Luther Taylor cabin image for the old cabin and fence enhanced by the autumn colors. It’s interesting how the older decaying structures enhance the surrounding landscape’s interest and beauty. Very nice. Thanks for sharing each of these Alan!

Thanks John - the Palouse shot is actually from the ground up on Steptoe Butte. The two drone shots are the North Fork image and the view of Pistol River along the Oregon Coast.

Thank you for correcting my ”drone” guess—that’s quite a view from the Steptoe Butte! Thanks for sharing all your beautiful images today.

Here's a few:

1) Cabin and mountains along the North Fork road near the Polebridge entrance to Glacier NP

2) Eastern Iceland coastline with some buildings

3) Alder Creek and Farm near Point Arena, California

Kyle, I very much appreciate your sharing these three beautiful rural landscapes—thank you. I like each composition, especially favoring the second and third landscapes. The first image, the Polebridge area near Glacier NP captures a beautiful cloudscape above the cabins, mountains and fields below. I like this composition with much devoted to the memorable sky. The Eastern Iceland with the appealing rocky coastline is a beautiful and interesting composition…and perhaps my favorite. The Alder Creek’s winding flow in the Point Arena image is another well captured scene—love the layers within this beautiful landscape.
