Alan, truly GORGEOUS images all—thank you for sharing each of these! I especially am taken with the Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier images. The beautiful Mt. Hood is beautiful in the colors captured! Another favorite is your Tetons last image! Thank you for sharing ALL of these very, very beautiful images! Some Cascade peaks:

Jameel, thank you for sharing your mountain images with us—I love the few you shared! (More are always welcome!) I love the Sparks Lake composition—nice reflections and the predominant sky and lake area dominance accentuates the mountain, island, and trees. Very nice. The Grand Tetons is a perfect capture of color and composition. Again very nice. Of course the Mt. Rainier is a superb image in all respects. The Mt. Shuksan is perhaps my favorite for all the elements captured—water and ice, reflection, limited colors and perfect composition. Thank you for sharing each of these very beautiful images.I have a few images with mountains.

Ken, thank you for posting these striking images. Perhaps my favorite is the second image with so many layers of snowy peaks. Very nice. I like the first image’s composition including the green mountain slope in the foreground leading to the majestic mountains beyond. Very nice as well. Again thanks for sharing these gorgeous landscapes. Two images from the Mont Blanc Massif in the French Alps.

Looking South along the Mer de Glace with the Italian border on the Peaks on the left. These images are from 2014 and I want to return before the glacier retreats too far back up the valley that it disappears from sight. I was here in the 1970's and the glacier filled the valley. Up until the 1970's it was losing 1 ft of depth a year but since then the rate of loss has increased at an ever increasing rate.

Craig, very beautiful images you’ve shared—thank you! Your first image, “Sundown” is quite impressive in color and the perfect layers in composition—and my favorite! The “Old Fishing Hole” is another good capture with the mountain and its reflection creating a very nice composition. Nice. “Way South Utah” is another impressive layered composition. Again very nice image. I like the “Road to Nowhere”—dead end or not, I like this image! Very nice. “Moonrise and The Devil” is a perfect image—and title! Good capture and title! Thanks for sharing all these beautiful images Craig. Here's a few...

Larry, beautiful images you have shared for this weeks Task. Sorry I haven’t responded earlier as I’ve been gone for a few days. I love the Maroon Bells image—a definite favorite for the captured colors and it’s always nice to see a colorful reflection too. Very nice. I also love the Dallas Divide for the colorful layers—a beautiful capture. The sunset at Dallas Divide is perhaps my most favorite! Gorgeous light in the sky and the landscape below creates a memorable image! The Red Mountain Pass is another good composition with interesting intersecting layers. Nice. I like the Road to Gothic too—nice view. I liked Little House on the Prairie too, a great title and image. Nice clouds captured. Thanks for sharing these good images. Here are a few from my archive!
