Michael, four quite beautiful images you shared—and thank you for doing so! I cannot choose a favorite, each is so well composed and captured. I like the minimalist capture of the first White Sands image—the image has a nice abstract feel. The image of the Yucca plant is another well composed—and beautiful image. I do love the very strong composition of the Goblin Valley as well—especially the intriguing foreground! The many layers within the Canyonlands NP creates a memorable image—a striking image! Again thank you for sharing!

First I must say—thank you for sharing (and identifying) your first Idaho Falls image, Alan. It‘s nice to see a humorous image—maybe not to that driver! I love the two Monument Valley images—especially the first. Nice. I love the Death Valley image, my favorite, for the distinct layers of color. Very nice.

Thank you for sharing these gorgeous images Craig! I like your comment that most seem to be petrified—I say easier to walk on! “The Backside of Nowhere” is a very strong composition—and I’m glad you went past nowhere to capture this beautiful image! (Great title). Your second image, the well-named ”Dunes” is a beautiful capture. The strong foreground of the dunes, in sunlight and shadows, and the blue mountains and sky beyond creates a truly memorable image. Very nice. And I must say “The Jagged Edge” is well named and a perfect capture. I like the cool color palette of “Uplift” and the many layers within. “Silver and Gold” is another beautiful capture—I love the light and shadowed waves of sand through much of this beautiful image—of silver and gold! (I like the weathered fallen branch in shadow—in the image lower corner). Again, thank you for sharing these wonderful images Craig.

Larry, thank you for sharing these beautiful “dunes’’ images this week. I like the first two Great Sand Dunes NP images—the distinct layers of colors in each. Very nice. (I like the clouds on the mountains in the second image). Speaking of clouds—your third image certainly benefits from the beautiful clouds above the dunes. Gorgeous. And the rain storm captured in the next image is a very nice capture of colors—and weather! I hope you and Kathleen avoided getting wet! The B&W Mt. Blanco landscape is a beautiful capture and composition. I like the foreground of the two groups of trees—very nice. Thank you for sharing all these beautiful captures Larry.
