Craig, beautiful images all and I love your “window” interpretations! I like the “A Thousand Miles from Nowhere” image, for its composition and intriguing title! Nice. “Moon Arch” is a wonderfully inspired composition from planning (or luck?) and a definite favorite! “Uranium Boom” is very interesting image for its title—(I worked at Y-12 NSC for many years) and its interesting structure. I like the crossed timbers seen through the window. Nice. “Hidden in Time” is another very interesting structure with window—a definite favorite. “Dreamscape” is a truly perfect image (and title) of Mesa Arch and a definite favorite—very, very nice! And “A Room with a View” is another inspired title of a perfect composition and wonderful image. Yes, a definite favorite as well. Thank you for sharing each of these great images Craig.

Larry, thank you for sharing these great images for this week’s task. I love the Turret Arch image you shared! A beautiful B&W and a perfect composition you created—and my definite favorite! Very nice. Great image Larry! I also love your North Windows Arch composition as well—beautiful colors and composition too. It’s nice to see the visiting couple for the sense of scale they provide. Very nice. I love the Windows and snow at Red Rocks—love the capture of the three windows with snow. The image has a nice abstract feel to it—a well seen composition. The old Mercantile Shop is a nice addition to this week’s Task—I like this image of a “pane-ful” past! Nice. Thanks again for all your well chosen windows!

Great window images Jameel! I absolutely love the first image from Arches NP—perfect and a beautiful composition! A definite favorite! The image from Antelope Canyon is a truly perfect composition—I love the light and shadows captured in this perfect capture! Another favorite! And I love the “windows” peering into the scene beyond in the Capitol Reef image—great composition and an inspired capture. Thank you for sharing each of these beautiful images Jameel!

Alan, great choices and great images for this week’s Task. I love the Arch Rock at S. Boardman Scenic Corridor, a good composition and nice capture of the white waves striking the rocky shore. Perhaps my favorite is the beautiful sunset in Bandon—very nice capture of color and composition and a definite favorite. The ruins (and its many windows) are quite beautiful in the Canyon de Chelly image—I like the limited color palette. The Qasr al-Bint arch creates a great “window” in this beautiful image. Nice composition—with moon! Very nice! The abandoned cabin in your final image has a certain charm—it’s nice how older structures harmonize so well with the surrounding environment. Nicely composed. Thank you for sharing each of these perfect “window” images.

This one was easy and fairly safe

I have never had to push and pull an image as much as this on. Getting here was tricky and not terribly sensible as every so often a larger wave came fast into the cave. 30 minutes after this image the beach was cleared as it was getting too dangerous as the waves were increasing in ferocity and the cliffs were dropping large boulders.

The colours inside of the sea cave were amazing but no matter what I do I can't pull them out of the file. Ken

First, I’m so glad you were able to safely capture these very beautiful “windows.” Both images are well composed with a good balance of highlights and shadows. I especially favor the first image for the rocky “window” revealing the rocky middle ground guiding the eye to the smooth sea and sky. Gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing both of these “beauties!”
