Great variety of beautiful rock images, Alan. Latourell Falls and the Oregon coast sea stack are my favorites—but the Beacon Rock is an impressive image as well. Thank you for sharing all of these.

Larry, beautiful examples you’ve shared—love the Red Rock Lake image, my favorite! The Red Rock Park and the Garden of the Gods are nice images as well. The Morro Rock in Morro Bay creates a stunning backdrop for the many sailboats—nice composition. Thanks again Larry for sharing all of these!

Doug, love your granite and sandstone rock landscape formations—thanks for all these gorgeous landscapes you’ve shared. I especially favor the Alabama Hills composition—very, very nice!

Why do we love rocks so much? We give them names, personalities, and stories. We climb them, sleep next to them, and put artwork on them. Some provide shade. Others get in our way. Some are quite colorful.....

Okay Jeffrey, how many of these stones did you give names? 😉 All kidding aside, a very beautiful image—may I ask where this was taken? Thank you for sharing this memorable image.
