I like both but tend to prefer sunrise because fewer people are up early and thus don't get in your image.

Incredible images Doug! Love the sunrises you’ve shared—without any other onlookers in the frame!😉 I especially favor the Shiprock, Anza Borrego, and Monument Valley captures. The Grand Canyon sunrise is a memorable sunrise as well. Love them all.

Dawn is almost always better. Still air, different colors, no people... Downside is getting up!

Craig, a beautiful dawn series you’ve shared—beautiful light and compositions in all. I especially love “Junction Butte,” ”First Light,” and “Sunrise on the Colorado.” But all these images are very well seen and captured. Thank you for sharing.

Love these three encompassing our sun’s travels—good idea and very nice images as well. I really love the Mono Lake sunrise, my favorite, but the Arches sunset is beautiful too. And as I said above, love the Moab midday capture too! Thank you for sharing and expanding the Task!
Incredible images Kyle! Love them all—your first is perfect in every aesthetic respect, very nice! The Iceland and Banff captures are very special as well. Thank you for sharing and happy to see your participation here again!
