The Temple of Debod

The Temple of Debod, originally located 15 km south of Aswan in Egypt, was donated to Spain in 1968 as a token of gratitude for Spain's assistance in saving the Abu Simbel temples from flooding due to the construction of the Great Dam of Aswan. The temple was reconstructed in Madrid's Parque del Oeste near the royal palace and opened to the public in 1972. This effort was part of an international campaign by UNESCO to preserve significant historical monuments threatened by the dam's construction.

These aren't minor structures to tear down and transport across the Mediterranean. I like that you shot these at night to get the dramatic lighting and reflections.

True. They have reinstalled them in a small park in downtown Madrid (a few minutes walk from Plaza Espana). It was well lit at night.
