The Stairway

I spent a few days leading up to Easter visiting a bunch of the old California Missions. Most of these date back to late 1700's. So much cool rich history. This is from the courtyard area in Mission Carmel. Carmel is located on the coast, basically right at the top of Big Sur. It's great area to visit and explore.

In the courtyard area I found this stairway with a single tree next to it, and I shot this from quite a few angles, but decided I liked this angle the best.

Nikon D7100 Converted to IR. This image is not channel swapped, but only has a custom profile and WB applied.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

Nice composition with a distinct IR twist to the palette. The blues provide quite a contrast with this rendering.

Very Nice Jim, I really like the Color of the Foliage and the Steps going Up surrounding it.

Great job Jim, I like the composition and the color of the tree.
I appreciate that Ben! It was really cool to find this little corner. The open door there is where you exit from the museum, so I think this view can be missed if you don't turn around while exiting.
