This is a project I have been working on for months now, it involved staying up or getting up at all odd hours of the night to attempt to capture the moon each night. I then processed one from each phase (a couple of phases got missed due to clouds), and then stacked and aligned in Photoshop. The smaller phases of the moon wouldn't align in Photoshop so I had to manually rotate and align them. All of the photos were taken handheld with the Nikon D850 and Tamron 150-600mm. Most of the exposures were at ISO 400, 1/1600th of a sec shutter speed and f6.3 or f8.
I have been working on the processing end of this for the last week, lot's of hours trying to get this to look right. And I know it's not perfect, but I think I have it good enough for a first try at something like this.
