2015 was a banner year for rainfall during the monsoon season at the Grand Canyon. I have never seen it so green as you see it in this image. I felt compelled to take this image just to document something you almost never see.

I got to see Canyonlands like that once in the summer of 1975 but didn't have enough film to record how amazingly different it looks when it has some serious green.
