The End of the Evening

A shot I stumbled across while I was looking for golden hour images that had not been processed before. I have posted some images from much earlier in this particular evening but none from the last of my evening out on the beach. This is near Brookings.

Thanks Monika - it was one shot out of about 60 I took that evening and I have processed and posted several from earlier in the evening color show. There are still about 50 more unique views from that evening still unprocessed.

Many thanks Ben - when the sky goes crazy for almost 1/2 hour it's hard to stop shooting sometimes and you end up with too many to process. Not complaining mind you

Thanks Jim - believe it or not I actually packed up about 3 shots after taking this one. It was darker than it looks at this point in the evening.

Thanks Jameel - fully agree and I shot away at a pace of about 2 shots/minute for just over 1/2 hour before this one. The best of the colors were during the first 20 minutes or so.

Thanks Roger - there is a small stream that flows across the beach directly behind me creating the textures in the foreground.

Thanks Oliver - the reflection is courtesy of a small stream that flows out to the ocean right in front of me. My tripod was standing in about an inch of water in the stream.
