The End of the Day...............IR

This has an almost otherworldly feel to it with only blue sky and the green grass showing visible colors. I like the result.

I guess I am curious - if most things green turn white in IR captures/processing how did the grass across the water still end up green?

That’s so cool Craig! I am really liking how the trees turned white.
Hi Jim, Thanks very much, The White Trees / Foliage is one of the features of the 720nm wavelength, and Blue Skies !!!

Thanks again, Take Care,

Craig

Hi Alan, This really did turn out neat, it was a nice surprise when the Channel Swap Action ran and it popped on the Screen.

It's strange/ neat how things will show or render in IR, The White Foliage of the Pine Trees really pops and the Green is actually
the Lily Pads in the Water and I'm guessing the way they processed out or the color the camera picked up.

Take Care,

Craig

Very nice! Always fun to see how objects get rendered color-wise. Some stuff seems almost unchanged (assuming those are aluminum canoes they look 'normal') while other objects get changed a lot (like the trees.) Always fun to see how things come out. And then the scenes are interesting in their own right, which of course really helps the overall impact immensely.

In this case, the brightness of the scene belies an end of day shot - very exciting effect!

Thanks very much Mikey, It's always a Mystery on how things will pop after the Channel Swap, it's one of the many things I love about IR.
The IR did affect the Foliage basically I think because of the CWB.

Had to Smile, The End of the Day, was more about all the Canoe's, Boat's and people finished and "The End of the Day" Plus, I'd actually lightened up the foreground over the image I was going to share as I figured it might be too dark for some !!! LOL

Thanks again for the kind comments and reply !!!

Take Care,
