Thanks guys! When I was posting more over on FM, I would never post anything unless it was brand new and fresh. The problem is, eventually you start running out of compositions and it becomes a matter of good light, skies and color. So you're posting starts slowing to a crawl, until it's maybe one every six months or so. And so it goes...
I have never seen this perspective of what appears to be near Green River Overlook in Canyonlands National Park. Very nice image and nice find, Craig.
Thanks Doug! Half the fun of photography is in the discovery. If it was common or well known it would be destroyed by now as it's extremely fragile, and the way the world is now. Intentional vandalism or unintentional breakage. Many years ago I stopped giving any directions to specific spots because a certain person, who still posts over on FM, got really mad about not knowing a specific sites location, and once she figured it out, she started posting maps and directions to it on FM. Fortunately Fred quickly deleted those posts, but that was it for her, and for my disclosures, and the last time I ever talked to that person... Not that I wouldn't show trustworthy people photo locations.... In person.
