The Edge

No need to get edgy now, Craig. You live among the edges. We want to see them. Nothing personal. Nice image, too.

Don't care about the name - I care about the picture and I like this one. The nice glow to the light on the foreground ledge is a great contrast to the view beyond. Hopefully this one got printed?

I am on the edge of how much I like this one Craig.... is it awesome or really awesome... :)

This is a cool shot, and keep them coming. Maybe at some point you do an Edgy series with a bunch of your Edge photos in it?

Love the (l)edge bathed in that gloriously coloured light, Craig. Don't hedge your bets but take up Jim's suggestion. I suspect that many will pledge to join the thread and wedge in a plethora of shots in acknowledgement.

Edge of the world, edge of the day, edge works well for me as does the light and I never tire of that Canyonland terrain.

That's why (see comments above) I love and fit in so well with photographers, they're right on the mental edge :D.

A sublime image that would border on criminal if posted or viewed just once. I'm a firm believer in dragging out the old favorites, that's how we travel back in memory and it's also how the viewer gets to enjoy the experience vicariously. Keep'um coming.

I have never seen this perspective of what appears to be near Green River Overlook in Canyonlands National Park. Very nice image and nice find, Craig.

Thanks guys! When I was posting more over on FM, I would never post anything unless it was brand new and fresh. The problem is, eventually you start running out of compositions and it becomes a matter of good light, skies and color. So you're posting starts slowing to a crawl, until it's maybe one every six months or so. And so it goes...

Thanks Doug! Half the fun of photography is in the discovery. If it was common or well known it would be destroyed by now as it's extremely fragile, and the way the world is now. Intentional vandalism or unintentional breakage. Many years ago I stopped giving any directions to specific spots because a certain person, who still posts over on FM, got really mad about not knowing a specific sites location, and once she figured it out, she started posting maps and directions to it on FM. Fortunately Fred quickly deleted those posts, but that was it for her, and for my disclosures, and the last time I ever talked to that person... Not that I wouldn't show trustworthy people photo locations.... In person.

Nothing wrong with re-posting old pics. But hue in the sky does not look right to me. Blueberry/Lemonade? Hmm.
