The Cottonwoods are Calling

I am back in Colorado after a mediocre fall color season in the upper midwest. The Aspens are done in the mountains here, so I am going after the Cottonwoods which are rather plentiful at the lower elevations.

I captured this yesterday at a local nature area in Northern Colorado.

This is typical for the lower elevations along with Nebraska, Iowa, etc. The cottonwoods turn usually a few weeks after the Aspens. So the cottonwoods missed the bad winds from a few weeks ago.

Looks good. The yellow blue color combination works for fall imagery.
