The cool, wet summer in the northeast (Adirondacks)

It's been a cool, wet summer in the Adirondacks -- no complaints here, great for morning photography.

Here's a series from the forest streams, then one from the Smokey Mountains (where I shot the eclipse).

C&C welcome.

And finally, some lush leaves in the Smokey Mountains:

Good evening Bart - not sure I want to choose which display of lush green I like the best out of these. The second one grabs my attention for the texture of the falls and the sense of depth behind with lighting on the forest floor. The last one is delightful - almost like Escher art in ivy.

Neat set.

Lovely set, Bart! They are all delightful, but I'm especially drawn to the last. Wonderful lighting in the scene!

Hey Bart,

It is awesome to have you posting! :)

My Favorites are #3 and 5. But I think #5 might be my favorite, and even my favorite shot of the day. It's such a cool window, just so unique.

Love them all. It reminds me of the San Gabriel river hike to "Bridge to Nowhere"...just a little.

Also, I see "Wislon" from the movie "Cast Away" in that last picture. :p

Hey Bart! Lovely series. I'm very fond of these stream shots with the water making it's dramatic way through the vibrant greens (particularly like the dramatic comp of no1). The whole set remind me a nice wet day spent with you around the Mohawk and Little Falls looking for these wet green rushing streams. :)
