I went to the Butterfly Pavilion in Denver on Sunday afternoon. It's always so much fun to go in there and see all of the butterflies. It was pretty packed, the parking lot was too capacity. Thats the most cars I have seen there since the pandemic. It wasn't quite as crowded inside as I thought it might be, and as I got there around 2pm with the family, it got less crowded as time went on.

I enjoy using the IR camera in there, it can give this really nice soft pastel feel to the butterflies and plants. This is one I found early on when I got there.

Nikon D7100 converted to 590nm
Custom WB applied, but no Channel Swapping

Doesn’t have an IR look based on the color of the butterfly. The background palette works really well. Nice one.

I have no idea what the butterfly looks like in normal colors but it is an interesting contrast to the non-channel swapped IS for the plants.

Very nice tones on the butterfly and great sharpness and contrast. The dreamy background makes this image

I need to go back and look at the color version I took of this. I am not sure the color of the Butterfly changes much, but I could be wrong.

Thanks Ben, it was even more dreamy until I cranked up the contrast a bit. I have the hardest time not adding contrast.... :(
