The Bridge

This is the San Mateo Bridge in the Bay Area, for 2 weeks each year in January and November, the setting sun will light up the trestles during the sunset, when it's viewed from certain angles, the shadows of the bridge spans cast neat geometric forms.

I have been waiting for this shot for a long long time, the Bayfront Levee project took 3 years to complete till a year ago, during the time all access to the water front were closed off; finally I got a clear afternoon to snap the shot.

Thank you, Alan, it's very easy to remember, 1 month before the Spring Yosemite Firefall and 1 month after the Autumn Yosemite Firefall, the more difficult part is waiting for the right weather condition.
