The Barn

Well this is the favorite Mormon barn in Grand Teton. I would guess it’s in the Top 10 of Favorite Barns in the USA.

Yesterday was supposed to be clear skies there, but when I saw there was clouds, I decidedto make the1 mile hike in the packed snow out to it to capture it. Doing that though caused me to have to call Ben and let him know I wouldn’t be able to go meet him at the Bonneville Flats that night. I couldn’t resist the clouds.

This is an iPhone shot as I am still traveling.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

Wow, that snow looks pretty deep, Very nice shot, and while I missed out on a meet up at Bonneville, this was probably a better choice.

I bet those clouds would make a great TL.

That almost looks deep enough for snowshoes to be useful. A very different looking scene compared to the rest of the year.

Thanks Ben! We will do BonneVille one of these trips.

I thought about doing a Timelapse there, but I didn’t have time as I needed to be able get going because I wanted to explore the West side of the Tetonson my way out.
