Taking out a Seagull, Bald Eagle,

It was an interesting day for me, I was down at the dock in Blaine, Wa. and out over the water a bald eagle took out a Seagull in midair. It was a very interesting watch, and I was able to take a few shots of the action. My style of wildlife photography is I never shoot fps. only single shots as I am usually more interested in movements and tells in the animals I observe. Sometimes I get a great shot, sometimes not but I am always learning this way. I actually did not think Eagles took out Seagulls because most times I see them together it seems the seagulls are antagonizing the Eagles.

Wow Roger! That's crazy! I would not have thought a Bald Eagle would attack a Seagull. But I do know at least from a human stand point, Seagulls are very irritating, so I don't blame the Bald Eagle at all... :)

Great sequence -- does it make you want to shoot in burst/fps mode more often?
I only took 7 photos of this event, so actually no, it was great to get to witness and watch the movements of both the Eagle and Gull as they positioned themselves, I learned a lot watching through my lens. Impressive the power an Eagle has through the turns and the deliberation of his angles.
