Taking a Nap Down by the River

Another from the archives from Yellowstone National Park that has this Bison taking a nap it seemed like. He was down on his knees, it's hard to tell with the grass, but he was there for a while resting.

Thanks Alan, there was a small herd of Bison down in that area and it was fun to watch their movements and behavior. That early morning mist and steam sure provided a great backdrop too.

Very nice, love the mist rising from what I figure must be a hot spring fed river.
