Swirly Clouds

Back when my daughter lived in SLC I was a frequent visitor to the city. In one of my visits I met up with Ben for the first time. We were discussing where to go for sunrise. My daughter suggested Ensign Peak. Interestingly Ben had never been there or even heard of the place.

This is one of the images we captured that morning before spending the rest of the day exploring Ben’s favorite haunts.

Looks like a lenticular that got detached from its peaks. One of the only things I miss about living in SLC are the views of the mountains from the city.

Most folks in the Utah Lake Valley tend to not know as much about the SLC valley and vice-versa. I lived in SLC for 24 years and only rarely explored any of Utah Lake Valley beyond driving through it to go somewhere else.
