Those saguaro sure are plump - this should be a good year for their blooms and fruit. That is an amazingly lush looking desert floor compared to what it will look like by June.

The problem with the saguaros, they are full of water because of all this rain this year and many are falling on the ground, too heavy

Not the first time for that phenomena and not restricted to saguaros. Some of the pieces that succumb to gravity will root anyway.
