Well, I am not good at night photography at all, but went out with Vegas Photo Club. I actually think I learned quite a bit about settings to use so all was not lost. Not the best but I am proud of it

Hey Darcy, that looks pretty cool. Shooting at night is so different and there are so many variables, the only way to truly get good at it is by trial and error. So good job with this.

Did you get a chance to invite any of the photo club members to join us here at FocalWorld?

Oh and thank you. I did end up taking this into photo shop to sharpen. Wow it works a lot better than light room . Also I brought the highlights way down to get some detail in the moon, and reduced vibrance. I may play with it more and may put the raw in the critique forum for help when I get home from work

This is really nice, getting a moon exposed for detail and still getting terrestrial things exposed is tough.

Moon shots are fun but so is having the LV skyline down below. I am not a big fan of downtown LV but it sure does make for interesting photography at night.

Yeah I stay away from the Strip & Freemont Street most of the time . We were actually probably 15 miles away to the west on a great hill at the base of a mountain. Unfortunately they are building a gated community right up to where we were standing so we won't have that vantage point anymore
