Thanks Alan. The upside, our tent was 150yds away. The downside, I had my own cloud of midges biting every piece of uncovered flesh. Calm evenings, loved by photographers are also loved by Highland midges. Ken

I didn't even get bit once enjoying the view you captured

Midges do not sound like fun. For us, it's mosquitoes. Are they bad enough that you have to take multiple photos to try and get a photo without a midge in the image?

Outside of the Midges, this sounds and looks like a great place to be camping.
