Thanks, Douglas. I didn't plan on shooting the sunrise from here. It was a decision made in the frantic moment when I needed to park the car RIGHT NOW. This spot is west of the Chimney Rock trailhead on Utah SR 24, just inside the park boundary.

The first two are really nice but that last one is fantastic, Monika.

As I recall (always a dangerous thing to do), I had waded out into the lagoon deep enough that I should have put my waders on for that shot. There are so many interesting bits of the glaciers upstream that break off. And the pre-dawn or early morning light in those cold temperature produce some wonderful colors.

It looks like the view from Lower Inspiration Point. I have shot this view a few times.

edit - Eric had it in his title - Fairyland is a viewpoint just outside of the Visitor Center.
