My brother finally got me up to Aspen. The first day there we went up to Maroon Lake late in the afternoon.
Storm clouds were dropping a dusting of snow in the higher elevations. With the fall color fairly well along, though not at peak, yet, I really liked the contrasts.
C&C most welcome.

Hey Barry,

You got snow the bells causing those nice streaks on the mountain! That's the key to really separate average shots from very good shots of the Bells.

Nice one!

Thanks very much, guys! That is a spectacular place, and I was fortunate to also have some cool atmospherics going on while I was there.

Barry,
Very nice ! The bells set up for some nice comps, your shot looks great with the hanging clouds.. Have you done a converted B/W for this?
Regards,
Dean

Thanks, Dean. I haven't done a b&w for the scene, I just couldn't give up the wonderful aspen fall colors. :)

Great reflection indeed, Barry. No fall colors in Scotland yet these last weeks, but here in Luxembourg, first hints appear (probably due to the scottish weather we have now ...)
