State of Mind... + Color Version

Well done! I like the view and how it's framed within the cottonwoods(?). The color version is also very nice but could benefit with a bump in the midtones and darks to some degree. This scene has such a large dynamic range that it probably feels much darker overall than what you experienced. What mountains are those, btw?

Thanks Kurt you're correct, it is darker than what was viewed with the naked eye. I think that's why I saw it in BW when shooting. This is a view of the San Juan's in SW Colorado.

Oh I didn't know it was an IR, and you are right, it wasn't what I expected though still gorgeous. The IR makes the colors quite different but it is still beautiful.

I do 95% of my B&W's from IR, I think it converts over much nicer.

Beautiful. I much prefer the B&W, but I'm not a good judge of color IR, which I don't care for in general.
