Spain seascapes #2 Playa de Gueirua

I first photographed here 8 years ago and wanted to come back and grab the shots that I missed then. On this trip I visited twice, the first with lots of rain and calm seas, the second with sunshine and waves. If you follow Adam Gibbs you may have seen images from here.

#2 from the second visit, an overview from the top of the cliff. I would have loved to have been able to get onto the sandy beach but it either requires a short abseil or a short swim and both are far too risky for me. I think that I have seen almost every image published from here and have never seen one from the sand.

I can see why you are attracted to these sea stacks - neat looking rocks in all of these views. I love all of these shots but especially #5 with the close in view of the waves crashing into the base of the stacks. #2 and #3 offer a good perspective on the shapes of the stack formations.

What amazing sea stacks Ken! This is an area that I would go back to again as well.

#3 is my favorite, but I do like them all. They are much thinner and rougher then most of our sea stacks in the US. Ours tend to be larger and more worn out. These are really cool being like thin fins of rock.
