Oh to be able to just use my hands when eating spaghetti.

Thanks for the feedback! I am gonna try to bounce around these wonderful forums as time permits.
Window in the door!! You're def right about probably toning it down. In usual fashion, it took a few minutes for my brain to register that there is a large bright object right over the subject and that a different angle is optimal. I'm not done processing yet, and a few shots after this one I recompose and removed the door from the background. Now we'll just see if the focus/poses lined up lol.
