Soul Nebula with Dwarf Mini

My second outing with this little telescope and I'm super happy with what I can get despite not knowing too much about what the heck I'm doing ; ) I combined a few nights of imaging in the apps mega stack software so I had about 3 hours of data despite fighting the clouds. Did some initial editing in Siril and then used PS to add the stars back and just some light editing in Lightroom. I'm slowly getting the hang of things, acclimating myself to the post processing programs is probably going to be the thing that takes the longest but it's a fun challenge.

No one from the outside ever gets this, but the hardest part of astrophotography is the post processing of you want to get the most from your data. So you are spot on with that thought about the processing.

Great job. Like Jim says, the post processing is UBER impoprtant in astrophotography - more so than any other type of photography IMHO. All the time you spend on learning post processing software and techniques will really pay off for you in the long run. This is an excellent result.
