I love the sounds of a Redwing Blackbird, I am always reminded of my youth, fishing with my brothers early in the morning at the lake. Nature sounds are so soothing to the soul.

I know that song well. These birds were just about everywhere there was water growing up in Arizona. Nice capture in mid song.

Nice shot Roger. I too love the iconic sound of these fellows singing in the spring.
Like everyone else love their song. I have spent many an hour listening to them along some reedy waterway and you have captured the song, pose and breeding colors perfectly.

Perfect mage, Roger. I also remember how aggressive they were if you got too close to their nest.
