Taken at the Maze overlook.
Thanks Jim, I am loading images 3000 wide into my galleries which makes for better viewing.Beautiful. Thanks for the large file, well worth clicking through to examine the wonderful details.
Alan, we arrive in late afternoon and leave early in the morning for our next camp so not much time. A day of driving this is very exhausting. But on our next trip we are spending 4 days within 7-8 miles and 2 days at one spot, so we might do some hiking.Wonderful view and light. As Jim D already mentioned - well worth clicking through to the larger version for the nice details.
Did you ever do any hiking down in the Maze itself?
Ben, I love the expansive view. Is this spot accessible without hiking ?
You can drive right to it if you have the right vehicle. It is a tough 4wd road however.Ben, I love the expansive view. Is this spot accessible without hiking ?
Thank you.

Thanks Jameel. Yes, I like this spot, but it was full for our next trip. It sells out fast.Nice expansive view Ben. I can see why you want to go there again and again.
Hey Ben, I like the Maze from here, though I agree with Tim’s thoughts. The view is so amazing it can work with just about any light, but I think Tim has a point the eye gets stuck in the lower right.Nice work Ben! The layers and landscape are fantastic, but I'm not sure it was the right light for this comp. All the orange is drawing my eye to the bottom right quadrant and there isn't as much light in the rest of the frame to get my eye moving naturally.
Yes I see that, I also have one without any light that might work better. I am showing these about one per week so next week I will try that. The Maze is really awesome in person. but it's hard to capture in a photo.Hey Ben, I like the Maze from here, though I agree with Tim’s thoughts.
