Small things in the fall.

One of the joys of fall is finding things that are not typically considered beautiful and trying to set them in an interesting light.
The mushroom is tiny...about 1/2" tall and is created with a 30 image photo stack in Helicon Focus and use of photoshop to remove some unwanted foreground.
The seed pods are dried up and waiting for something to disperse the seeds inside.
In both cases spider webs were evident and helps to point out how ubiquitous these creatures are in a healthy environment.

Excellent detail presented here.

Are you using a focusing rail here? I'm wondering how you achieved the super low POV.
Hi Michael.. This is hand held with the OM 1 and the 90 mm macro. The camera is on the ground and I am using a flash so even though the light was very low the flash made the stack possible with the built in stacking option where you can set the parameters for how many shots and how far each advances.
