Sidewalk Lilies

A couple more nice looking lilies along the sidewalks in my neighborhood. Its getting harder to find plants without scorch damage from the heat wave that hit us a few weeks back. Not a lot of the vegetation in our yards is adapted for temperatures like what we experienced (115F).

Thanks Jim - I love being out wandering by a street side garden like this right after sprinkler systems turn off so I can pretend it had been raining. The direct sunlight betrays that fiction however.
