Only been there once, but JIm has got me wanting to go back.
Thanks EricWonderful!
It is a very pretty place.Lovely!
Your awfully kind, Bob.Great photography!
Yes the third one caught my eye, with the way the light came into the valley. The second one is classic Sedona. The third one has very interesting combination of clouds and light and holds my interest.
Alan, I doubt anything goes 30 years without significant change, still very pretty and a nice sunny place to visit.I have been there often but never with a camera in hand sadly. I haven't seen the place since the early 80's so I am guessing I won't recognize the communities at all.
I like all three of these images - they are starting to make me want to consider a visit.
Great job, Rick. I know Sedona pretty well but can’t figure out where you took the third one. That one is my favorite.Only been there once, but JIm has got me wanting to go back. View attachment 7117 View attachment 7118 View attachment 7119

Thanks, Bob.Doug,
I agree Rick did a very nice job. I also like the third one. If it helps the very right side of his image is the "Fin" and the clouds are covering Wilson Mountain. Looks like he shot that in the canyon behind sugar loaf trail.

Thanks Jim, interesting crop idea, I'll look at that, Thanks.Nice work. #3 for me - an even tighter crop loosing the sky at the top and the hillside in the bottom would make it all about the birds/clouds/peaks.
