Sedona Photographic Guide.

Bob Shuman, Guy Schmickle and I have provided the images for this guide and I have written the text. This will be presented in six separate posts. The first will be Red Rock Loop Road, the second will be the 89A corridor, the third will be the Oak Creek Canyon corridor, the fourth will be Schnebly Hill Road and the fifth will be the 179 corridor.

Some of the locations will require a Red Rock Pass which can be purchased at the ranger station off of route 179. I will indicate the locations that require it with (RRP)

The map provided here is an excellent guide to this popular area and can be downloaded onto your Smartphone.

It will take a bit to get all of these guides up so please be patient. All three of us have lived here for over ten years and thus, have been afforded some outstanding opportunities which you may not have when you are here. Nevertheless, it is difficult to leave here after a photographic tour without some excellent images.

Don't know if I will ever get down there, but this looks to be an exciting series and I will be sure to read it. Thanks for doing it.

Thanks for doing this, Doug, Guy and Bob. Just driving around the area unguided will not get you to the good places. I'll see you there someday.

Exciting. My only trip to the area was a side trip from Grand Canyon and ran into poor light and weather. This is definitely a place to visit in the near future. Thanks for taking on this project.
