San Rafael Swell

Thanks again Ben for giving me the tour of some amazing places in Utah. Took close to 700 images, so I have a lot of work to do. But this is one of my favorites so far.

The east side of the Swell is my favorite view of the area. I like your vantage point for the shot with the nice foreground relief.

Hey Sonny, I am glad you had a great time with Ben! I also heard you are a great cook! Well, so much for our cold sandwiches when you are cooking steaks out there.

This is a very cool view, and like how the desert floor looks like ripples or waves of water radiating out from the Reef.

Thank you guys, its what I was working on, on the other side of Skyline trying not to get blown over the edge by the winds. LOL Don't know if Ben had it any better where he was at. LOL

@JimFox I had the most amazing time with Ben, he is an inspiration to me now! And well, no reason I shouldn't eat well while roughing it right? LOL Ben hooked me with quite the steak dinner on Friday evening in Hanksville though!

Most excellent! I know some would prefer some detail in those lower shadows but I think your processing works great here to make them into graphic elements that flow up and into the picture.

Thank you Jim, I did work with that element, but in the end this was the most pleasing to my eye.
