River Derwent as rainforest

I may have posted this before but I have been looking at different ways to process images especially not lifting the shadows. As I started to darken this but leaving the brighter patch at the end still bright I was reminded of a rainforest and indeed this part of England is a temperate rainforest with much more than 100" of rain a year. Strangely it has not rained in April until today and we have only had a light shower. C & C welcome Ken

I like this look to the scene (probably not a surprise). The brighter area at the end of the lake really pulls me into the scene and the reflections are delightful. Nice work on the processing.

Great processing Ken! I sure like the look of it, as it feels like a painting.

This is a great reminder that I sure hope we can get the Gallery Embed to embed full sized images from the Gallery instead of these small images.

Great shot Ken, and I definitely like the shadow processing :) Best regards,

Vieri
Thanks Vieri.I am happy that Italy has relaxed the lockdown just a tiny bit and I hope that you can get your business back on its feet next year when hopefully we can travel without too many restrictions. Unfortunately I fear that we will never get back to what we had but I can hope. Ken

Wow ! What a scene -- a storybook, but very real. I feel as though I"m on a trip just by looking at it.
