The company that does the shows picks up injured birds and tries to heal and rehabilitate them for release back to nature. But some the birds become so accustomed to human contact that they can not be released into nature. These birds are used for educational talks and to let the public see the birds up close. They put on shows a couple of times a year at our local Wild Birds Unlimited Store.
