Recipe #13 Depth

Managing the trick of making a flat object look as if it has depth can add something to an image. This image of an Alpine lake has elements front a few feet in front of the camera to the Alps in the background. Sometimes I think in terms of foreground, midground and background planes but not in this case where I was only trying to fit the foreground waterlilies in with the sunlit grasses on the left and let the background fall where it will. Very nice, and thanks for helping me to understand this weeks assignment, now I can see if I have any that qualify.

This is great Ken! I was wracking my head to think about a good example of depth and you nailed it here. Way to kick this off.
